<div><strong>1. Commercial Contracting &amp; Sales Support</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Negotiate and close customer contracts efficiently, balancing legal risk with commercial momentum.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary legal contact for the sales process, partnering with GTM teams to remove friction.</li>
<li>Review, redline, and negotiate vendor agreements to ensure operational clarity and favorable terms.</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>2. Privacy &amp; Data Governance</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Ensure ongoing compliance with global privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.</li>
<li>Maintain and update Data Processing Addendums (DPA) and internal privacy policies.</li>
<li>Monitor regulatory changes and ensure customer documentation stays aligned with global standards.</li>
</ul>
<div><strong>3. Process Management &amp; Legal Strategy</strong></div>

<li>Manage the internal legal process, including legal ticket queues and response timelines.</li>
<li>Legal AI tool implementation and management.</li>
<li>Establish scalable legal frameworks, playbooks, and template fallback positions.</li>
<li>Advise cross-functional stakeholders on risk exposure and contractual obligations to enable sound business decisions.</li>
<li>Maintain legal hygiene by managing corporate records and signing procedures.</li>

<div><strong>Required</strong></div>

<li>10+ years of progressive legal experience, preferably in high-growth or tech environments with a focus on privacy and trade negotiations. California privacy experience is preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of U.S. employment and commercial law, as well as global privacy frameworks.</li>
<li>Experience supporting multiple functions including GTM, Engineering, and Operations.</li>
<li>Ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide clear guidance on complex legal matters.</li>
</ul>
<strong>Preferred</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.</li>
<li>Experience in venture-backed or scaling organizations.</li>
</ul>
