About Us

Cecy studied Biological Sciences at Oxford University and has an MSc in ML from Imperial College London, specialising in graph-based biological modelling. At Biographica, Cecy leads strategy and business development, leveraging prior experience in drug manufacturing and supply chain at GSK as well as market access strategy consulting for gene-editing technologies.

Cecily Price

Dom has Masters degrees in Maths and Stem Cell Biology, as well as a PhD in Computational Genomics, from Cambridge. In his PhD, and later as an ML researcher at Relation Therapeutics, Dom applied graph ML to target discovery. He leads platform development at Biographica, drawing inspiration from drug discovery to design efficient target discovery methods for crop gene-editing.

<h2>What we're looking for</h2>
<p>As part of the Science team, you will lead on development, optimisation and application of crop transformation and genome editing methods, which involve plant tissue culture or are tissue culture free.</p>

<li>Designing (or assisting with design of) experiments for gene target validation in planta</li>
<li>Setting up and optimising transformation/genome editing methodologies in crops, which are part of Biographica’s portfolio</li>

<li>Establish, optimise and perform genetic transformation and genome editing in crops of interest to Biographica</li>
<li>Perform molecular genotyping of transgenic/genome edited lines</li>
<li>Design and assemble DNA constructs for genetic transformation/genome editing</li>
<li>Prepare media for plant tissue culture and in planta transformation/genome editing experiments</li>
<li>Document protocols and experimental results in an ELN</li>
</ul>
