<h2>About the Role</h2>
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you'll play a crucial role in our technical team, leveraging your expertise in CSS, Javascript / Typescript, PHP and related technologies to architect, build, and maintain robust backend solutions while mentoring junior team members and maintaining high coding standards.
<h3>Tech Stack </h3>
- Primary: CSS, Javascript / Typescript, HTML - Desirable Skills: Acceptance &amp; Unit testing, Storybook, Docker, PHP (with modern OOP principles)
<h3> Key Responsibilities </h3>
<ul>
<li>Programming, testing, and documentation</li>
<li>Mentor more junior team members</li>
<li>Independently plan tasks, conduct research, solve problems, and fulfil requirements</li>
<li>Stay current with the latest technology trends and best practices</li>
<li>Follow and suggest improvements to coding standards and design patterns</li>
<li>Conduct code reviews</li>
</ul>
<h3> Requirements </h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience with modern CSS and Javascript / Typescript</li>
<li>Strong appreciation for the principles of effective unit testing and its role in maintainable, reliable software</li>
<li>Experience working in agile development environments</li>
<li>Demonstrable history of mentoring junior developers</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, especially in a remote environment</li>
<li>A comfortable, quiet space to work, with a fast and reliable internet connection</li>
<li>Ability to navigate and apply both coupled and decoupled front-end architectures, understanding when each approach is most effective</li>
<li>Collaborative approach to design implementation. Able to engage in a two-way feedback loop with UX, balancing creative input with practical execution</li>
<li>Experience in establishing and evolving design systems, aligning legacy and modern products toward a cohesive front-end strategy</li>
</ul>
<h3> Bonus points if you have…</h3>
<ul>
<li>PHP experience, particularly Symfony / Laravel and Twig templating</li>
<li>Modern javascript framework experience</li>
<li>Docker containerisation experience </li>
