We're building the world's go-to place to start a business.

Millions of people are stuck in jobs they don't love, and AI is reshaping work faster than the old system can adapt. We think the answer is giving people the education, tools and support to build something of their own.

Dream is a group of companies with one mission: help 10 million people start a business. We widen access to knowledge, opportunity and entrepreneurship through content, communities and businesses that genuinely help people, whatever their starting point. 10% of our profits are ringfenced to fund dreamers.

We're media-first, but mission-always.

Location: Based in or commutable to London. Hybrid, with regular time in person

Reports To: Creative Director / Head of Short Form

The Opportunity

We create ambitious short-form videos that help real people make their dreams happen.

We are looking for an exceptional Short-Form Editor to shape our stories in the edit, not just cut them. You will turn raw footage into tight, emotional clips that stop the scroll and keep people watching to the last second. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong instincts for pacing, who brings ideas to the table and keeps up with how social-first storytelling is changing.

Your mission: Turn raw footage into short videos people cannot scroll past.

What You Will Own

Edit to a high standard. Take raw footage and craft it into short-form videos with strong pacing, clear structure and real emotional impact, from first cut to final export.

Protect the brand. Keep a consistent editing style that matches the Simon Squibb brand identity and tone in every video

Win the first seconds. Build strong opening hooks and retention beats, so every video earns the viewer's attention and keeps it.

Bring the video to life. Use motion graphics, on-screen text and sound design to maximise viewer engagement.

Think past the footage. Spot the moments that do not exist yet, suggesting pickups, b-roll, graphics or voiceover that make the video land harder.

Bring ideas to the table. Contribute to concept development, test new content formats and spot emerging trends in social-first storytelling.

Strengthen the message. Give feedback on how editing choices can enhance Simon's message, mission and overall brand growth.

Sweat the details. Bring colour, sound mix, captions and titles to a consistently high, on-brand standard, in the right format for each platform, before anything goes out.

Manage multiple edits. Juggle a high volume of videos at once, hitting deadlines without letting quality slip on any of them.

Champion feedback. Work closely with the team to protect the story intent set before filming, and turn notes into sharper cuts without losing your own creative point of view.

What Great Looks Like

You are not simply cutting clips together. You are the person who can look at raw footage, find the few seconds that matter, and build them into a video that hits hard in the first second and stays with the viewer after the last. The team should be able to trust that every video looks and sounds like Simon, protects the story, and is ready to post with minimal rework.

How Success Will Be Measured

Videos consistently perform well, with strong watch time and retention.

Every video feels on brand in style, tone and quality.

Edits reach the team polished and ready to post with minimal rework.

Videos are delivered on time, even when the schedule is busy.

New formats, concepts and trends are proactively pitched and tested, without waiting to be asked.

Your feedback on Simon's message and brand growth is trusted and used by the team.
