<html><head></head><body>Inferno Studios is seeking a talented and experienced Senior VFX Artist to join its team in a new permanent role. This position is fully remote, however, applicants must be based in the UK to be considered.&nbsp; Responsibilities:
<ul style="margin-top: 0cm;" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal">Create and collaborate on high quality, optimized VFX assets across a range of projects with different technical requirements.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">With a focus on solutions, problem solve technical and artistic challenges relating to VFX production and integration.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Keep up to date with emerging tools and workflows in real-time VFX and share this knowledge with the team.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Assist with the research and development of new workflows and tools used to increase the efficiency and quality of our VFX services.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Attend internal and external meetings with project stakeholders where required.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Assist in providing task estimates across the team and logging your own time against project tasks.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Train and mentor other members of the team to heighten the skill level of the VFX team.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Provide support with art direction and quality assurance of VFX work produced by the team.</li>

 Requirements:
<ul style="margin-top: 0cm;" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal">6+ years of relevant industry experience.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Clear and professional communication skills paired with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">A willingness to learn new tools/ processes and an open-minded approach to development and VFX creation workflows.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Impressive portfolio demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of real-time VFX production.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Strong understanding of art fundamentals, including colour theory, lighting, and composition.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Proficient using Houdini and/or EmberGen to create VFX work.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Proficient in workflows used to create both realistic and stylized VFX.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Strong working knowledge and experience using Unreal Engine.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Strong knowledge and understanding of optimisation practices.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 Desirable Skills:
<ul style="margin-top: 0cm;" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal">Comfortable using Blender to create 3D content, or willing to adopt Blender within this role (training time will be provided).</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Demonstrable experience of mentoring and coaching junior team members, and conducting peer review sessions.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">2D VFX/ Animation experience is a plus.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Working knowledge of Unity is a plus.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Previous experience using proprietary engines is a plus.&nbsp;</li>
