<html><head></head><body><div>Inferno Studios is seeking a talented and experienced Senior VFX Artist to join its team in a new permanent role. This position is fully remote, however, applicants must be based in the UK (or be willing to relocate to the UK) to be considered.<br><br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Create and collaborate on high quality, optimized VFX assets across a range of projects with different technical requirements.</li>
<li>With a focus on solutions, problem solve technical and artistic challenges relating to VFX production and integration.</li>
<li>Keep up to date with emerging tools and workflows in real-time VFX and share this knowledge with the team.</li>
<li>Assist with the research and development of new workflows and tools used to increase the efficiency and quality of our VFX services.</li>
<li>Attend internal and external meetings with project stakeholders where required.</li>
<li>Assist in providing task estimates across the team and logging your own time against project tasks.</li>
<li>Train and mentor other members of the team to heighten the skill level of the VFX team.</li>
<li>Provide support with art direction and quality assurance of VFX work produced by the team.</li>

<div><strong><br>Requirements:</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>6+ years of relevant industry experience.</li>
<li>Clear and professional communication skills paired with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.</li>
<li>A willingness to learn new tools/ processes and an open-minded approach to development and VFX creation workflows.</li>
<li>Impressive portfolio demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of real-time VFX production.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of art fundamentals, including colour theory, timing, and composition.</li>
<li>Proficient using Blender, Substance Designer, Houdini and EmberGen/ Illugen to create VFX work.</li>
<li>Proficient in workflows used to create both realistic and stylized VFX.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge and experience using Unreal Engine including extensive knowledge of Niagara, Shader Creation and Optimisation Practices.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge and understanding of optimisation practices.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<div><strong><br>Desirable Skills:</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrable experience of mentoring and coaching junior team members, and conducting peer review sessions.</li>
<li>Experience using HLSL to develop shaders in Unreal Engine.</li>
<li>Previous experience using proprietary tech/ engines is a plus.&nbsp;<br>2D VFX/ Animation experience is a plus but not essential.</li>
