<div><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><strong>About the Job</strong></span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Kick It Out, football’s leading equality and inclusion organisation, are looking for an experienced facilitator to deliver their ‘Equality Inspires’ workshops to a variety of age groups across the football academy system, as well as parents and club staff. These workshops will predominantly focus on discrimination and inclusion within football and wider society.&nbsp;</span></div>

<div><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">The facilitator will play a key role in engaging each age group with the workshop content, reflective conversations and activities, to help develop participant understanding around what is meant by inclusion and discrimination within a footballing context, as well as giving them the tools to know how to role model inclusive behaviours, both online and on the pitch. &nbsp;</span></div>

<ul>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Travel to various locations across England to deliver Kick It Out’s ‘Equality Inspires’ workshops to different age groups (U9s-U21s) within a football academy setting. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Adapt delivery styles for each age group, employing appropriate methods to engage individuals on topics such as discrimination, inclusion, and allyship. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Encourage open and respectful discussion to help foster an inclusive environment, providing a safer space for reflection and honesty. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Facilitate workshops with parents, host families, and club staff, offering guidance on inclusion and supporting players in adopting their own inclusive practices on and off the pitch. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Where necessary, tailor workshops to meet specific requests from club staff, incorporating bespoke elements tailored to certain forms of discrimination. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Stay informed about emerging issues related to discrimination and inclusion across all levels of the game. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Obtain feedback from participants at the end of each workshop to help Kick It Out analyse the impact and effectiveness of the sessions. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Provide Kick It Out with reflections on the workshops, as well as attendance data. &nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Proven experience delivering engaging, high-impact workshops to a diverse range of audiences, including children, young people, and adults</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Strong understanding of equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion, particularly within the context of football or sport</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">In-depth knowledge of anti-discrimination issues, such as racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of prejudice</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Clear understanding of the systemic barriers faced by underrepresented groups, especially in accessing and participating in football or sport</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">A strong and demonstrable commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and adapt across multiple locations</span></li>

<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Previous experience of working within a football/academy setting.&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Previous experience in youth work. &nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Qualification in teaching or youth work (or equivalent).</span></li>

<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">The standard rate of £600 per day covers the delivery of two sessions (each session is approx. 60 mins)&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">For each additional session delivered on the same day, an extra £150 per session will be paid</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">(e.g., £750 for 3 sessions, £900 for 4 sessions)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">If only one session is delivered in a day, the rate will be £300</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Where possible, we prefer at least two sessions per day to optimise time and resource</span></li>

<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Travel will be across England, so a willingness to travel is essential</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">If your travel time exceeds 90 minutes each way, we will cover up to £150 in public transport costs (with valid receipts)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">If travelling by car, reimbursement will follow our mileage claim policy</span></li>
</ul>
