The opportunity

We're looking for a Finance & Customer Service Executive to join our Finance & Customer Service team. This is a varied role and a great opportunity to build hands-on experience across finance and customer service. You'll work on invoicing, payments, reconciliations and credit control in Xero, and manage our customer inbox, helping delegates, sponsors and contributors get the answers they need.

What you'll do

You'll manage the full cycle of our sales and payments: raising invoices for delegate ticket sales, setting up customers on their payment portals, and chasing overdue invoices. You'll process supplier and contributor payments through Dext and ApprovalMax, and reconcile our bank accounts, credit cards and Stripe ticket sales in Xero. You'll also look after our customer inbox, answering questions from delegates, sponsors and contributors, and passing useful feedback to the wider team. Alongside this, you'll help run our monthly London team days and keep our office admin running smoothly.

What we're looking for

You'll have experience in a finance or bookkeeping role, using Xero, and you'll be comfortable reconciling bank, card and ticketing payments. What matters most is that you're precise with numbers, organised enough to juggle invoices, payments and inbox queries at once, and confident in communicating with customers and suppliers directly, including when chasing a late payment.

A degree or accounting qualification is welcome but not required. What we care about is how you think and work, not where you studied.

Why this role

You'll work closely with our Finance Director and Finance Manager, get hands-on experience across the full finance cycle from invoicing to reconciliation, and be the voice of LeadDev for our customers and community.
