<div><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></div>
<div>As our Interim Finance Manager, you'll be a big part of Pip &amp; Nut’s financial foundations, supporting the Financial Controller (FC) and CFO in keeping Pip &amp; Nut’s growth on track. There's a lot going on at The Nest, so you'll need to be happy keeping different people &amp; priorities on track, with a beady eye on what really matters when it comes to controls &amp; governance. Staying cool under pressure, you’ll be an important part of our total business supporting teams across Operations, Marketing &amp; Sales. You’ll also be managing our Finance Assistant to make sure our day-to-day tasks keep ticking over.</div>

<li><strong>A numbers guardian</strong>. You’ll carry out high-quality financial reporting that helps drive smart business decisions, protects value &amp; keeps our team performing at its best.</li>
<li><strong>Laying the financial foundations, </strong>working with our FC to keep our accounting, internal &amp; external reporting, treasury &amp; compliance running like clockwork.</li>
<li><strong>A month-end mastermind.</strong> You’ll own the financial reporting cycle, closing month-end (P&amp;L, BS &amp; CF) accurately &amp; on time, including reconciliations &amp; consolidations - plus detailed updates ready for the Financial Controller.</li>
<li><strong>An A* auditor,</strong> managing our audit as a key inputter, working with our Finance Controller to keep things in line &amp; on time.</li>
<li><strong>A team player, </strong>bringing financial support to the wider Pip &amp; Nut team, especially operations, marketing &amp; sales.</li>
<li><strong>Guarding our Belgian books,</strong> working with our team in Belgium (&amp; PwC) to take full ownership of accounting, reporting &amp; compliance across our Belgian business.</li>
<li><strong>A treasury pro. </strong>You’ll build a robust cash management set-up: cash flow, debt (RF facility) management, compliant payment runs &amp; day-to-day banking relationships.</li>
<li><strong>A force for good,</strong> looking for ways to help us hit our social &amp; environmental goals, leading by example.</li>

<div><strong>Things we’re looking for (skills &amp; credentials):</strong></div>
<ul>
<li><strong>A qualified accountant</strong> (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or similar) with the numbers know-how to back it up.</li>
<li><strong>A clear communicator.</strong> You can explain the numbers to non-finance folk in a way that makes sense (&amp; sticks).</li>
<li><strong>A beady eye for detail</strong> &amp; strong analytical skills.</li>
<li><strong>Efficiency, energy &amp; enthusiasm </strong>(in no particular order). You’re happy working towards multiple deadlines &amp; managing your own time, even when things get busy.</li>
<li><strong>An Excel whizz. </strong>You’ll have intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills.</li>
<li><strong>Sector savviness</strong>. You’ll ideally have knowledge of Wholesale/Retail, importing, stock, cost accounting &amp; foreign currency.</li>
<li><strong>Software smarts.</strong> You’ll have experience using accountancy packages (ideally, QuickBooks, but this isn’t essential).</li>
<li><strong>A cross-team connector.</strong> You’ll be comfortable working with other teams (outside Finance) &amp; ideally have some experience doing this. &nbsp;</li>
