We deliver clinical trials of new tests and medicines that aim to detect brain disease early and treat it before it progresses to dementia. We also provide a full-service model for clinical research, with dedicated brain health research sites at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and ONE Biohub in Aberdeen, an in-house laboratory and imaging services based at the Eden Campus in St Andrews.<br><br>If you join our team, we promise to challenge, excite and develop you in our inclusive and innovative workplace.

<div>As our new Clinical Research Physician, based in Edinburgh, you will be responsible for activities on clinical research studies, particularly in early detection and treatment of brain conditions. There will be close supervision from Dr Meher Lad, Consultant Neurologist &amp; Medical Director and Prof Craig Ritchie, Professor of Brain Health and Neurodegenerative Disease (St. Andrews University) &amp; CEO of Scottish Brain Sciences.</div>

<li>performing medical procedures</li>
<li>collaborating with other research staff</li>
<li>developing further research skills.<br>&nbsp;</li>

<div><strong>The skills, experience, and qualifications you’ll bring:</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>MBBS or equivalent medical degree</li>
<li>GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK (please provide PIN with your application)</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaborative skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li>
<li>Experience in neuroscience or related field is a plus.</li>
