<h3>The role</h3>
<h4>This is not a typical sales role.</h4>
<div>It's for someone who wants to understand a sector deeply, develop a genuine point of view, and build long-term partnerships with some of the UK's leading employers, not just close deals. As an Early Careers Growth Associate, you'll work at the intersection of social impact, early talent strategy, and commercial growth. You'll develop a real understanding of the UK early careers landscape: what's keeping employers up at night, where the talent gaps are, and how Uptree can help.</div>

<div>You'll own the full new business cycle: identifying the right employers, reaching out with a compelling point of view, running sharp discovery conversations, building tailored proposals, and nurturing relationships over time. Alongside this, you'll become a genuine product expert, someone who understands every element of Uptree's offer and can connect it clearly to what an employer actually needs.</div>

<div>This is a role for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, process-driven, and ambitious. Someone who reads the room, does their homework, and genuinely cares about the work they're selling. You'll have real room to grow, progressing toward leading senior conversations and owning key partnerships as you develop.</div>
<h4><br>What will you achieve in the next 12 months?</h4>
<ul>
<li>Develop deep product expertise and become a trusted, knowledgeable voice across your pipeline</li>
<li>Generate 200+ outreach activities per week across LinkedIn and email to build a consistent pipeline</li>
<li>Book and progressively lead 10-15 discovery calls per month, preparing thorough briefs and managing all follow-up</li>
<li>Execute well-timed cold and warm campaigns to nurture prospects and generate new business meetings</li>
<li>Create and send 5+ tailored proposals monthly in collaboration with leadership, matching Uptree's solutions to each employer's needs</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, supporting account management where needed</li>
<li>Build your own community of relationships in the early careers space via regular LinkedIn posts and through attending industry events, including those run by ISE</li>
<li>Contribute market and product insights to sharpen Uptree's go-to-market messaging and sales materials</li>
<li>Keep your HubSpot pipeline accurate and up to date at all times</li>
<li>Close 1+ new employer partnerships per month</li>
<li>Collaborate across the team to build on and maintain new business and product sales materials, ensuring they are kept up to date and used appropriately, e.g. case studies and proposal templates</li>

<h3>Our hiring process</h3>
<div>We do all our interviews remotely and we do ask you to have camera software enabled. The process usually looks like the one outlined below – but if you make an application, we'll send you a more detailed breakdown ahead of time.</div>

<li>Step 1: Initial phone call with the hiring manager. This tends to last around 30 minutes.</li>
<li>Step 2: First stage interview. You'll have a video interview with a cross-section of our team, lasting around 45 mins to 1 hour.</li>
<li>Step 3: We'll ask you to complete a skills-test. (We don't expect you to spend more than 1-2 hours on this).</li>
<li>Step 4: Final stage interview - a 'meet the Leadership team' call, including a chat about your skills test and some final questions from our C-Suite team.</li>
</ul>
