<div>Word Monster has grown from firm roots supporting healthcare agencies — delivering scientific expertise and publications — and through our training academy, which builds capability within pharma and agency teams.</div>
<div>The Monster Academy is an industry-recognised training programme that supports graduates, career changers, and in-role writers in developing the skills needed to excel as medical writers. Course offerings include 4- and 8-week live CPD-accredited programmes covering medical writing fundamentals, as well as a comprehensive introductory e-learning programme.</div>
<div>Underpinned by our BITE educational framework, we also deliver training and mentoring to pharma and healthcare agencies. We support writing teams at every stage of their careers, and with extensive experience across the full spectrum of med comms, we’ve trained hundreds of professionals in areas ranging from product training to therapy area upskilling and competitor analyses.</div>

As a course instructor and Principal Medical Writer, your role will be to bring this vision to life through the exceptional delivery and continuous improvement of all our training services.</div>

<div>This will initially be a dual role, encompassing both training and medical writing. When not developing or delivering training, you will support our other verticals in the role of Principal Medical Writer.</div>

<div>This role would suit someone with a strong medical writing background and experience or passion for developing and delivering training. You’ll organise and lead the delivery of our fundamental medical writing courses and play an active role in the design, development, and delivery of training programmes for pharma and healthcare agencies.</div>

<div>You’ll collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop compelling materials across multiple formats — from medical education and communications to creative campaigns and digital assets. <div>This is a full-time, permanent, remote role (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility built in — designed for an experienced writer who thrives on variety, autonomy, and purpose-driven work in healthcare communications.</div>
